Customer Problems

  1. Meal Planning was Time-Intensive and Repetitive: Staff often planned meals weekly or monthly, but many menus followed similar structures. Without a way to copy or bulk add meals, they wasted time manually re-entering the same info..

  2. Poor Visibility of Long-Term Meal Planning: Without the ability to plan in batches or duplicate from previous schedules, it was hard to map out future meals or prepare for upcoming needs like holidays or special diets.

  3. Limited Flexibility when Managing Multiple Homes: For care homes managing different houses or units, reapplying a successful meal plan across multiple groups was clunky and time-consuming without bulk actions.

Feature Overview

The Meal Plan Bulk Add & Copy feature was designed to make food scheduling faster, smarter, and more consistent across the home.. It empowers staff to reuse and scale meal plans without repetitive manual entry.

Goals

  1. Save time and reduce repetitive admin work for care staff.

  2. Ensure dietary consistency and compliance with health guidelines.

  3. Minimize errors and improve coordination between planning and kitchen staff.

  4. Make long-term and multi-YP planning more efficient and less stressful.
