Customer Problems
Manual Tracking of Medication & Supplies: Most care homes used spreadsheets or paper logs to track medications and medical supplies. This was inefficient, prone to human error, and difficult to keep up to date.
Risk of Running Out of Critical Items: Without automated stock alerts, staff sometimes did not notice when essential medications, first-aid supplies, or medical equipment were running low, thereby putting YPs' health at risk.
Lack of Visibility Across Shifts: When multiple staff managed inventory across different shifts, communication gaps sometimes led to duplicated orders, missed reorders, or misreported stock levels.
Non-Compliance with Medical Regulations: Failing to document medication usage accurately or losing track of expiry dates can lead to serious compliance issues and potential health violations
